a second to the original question of the style of the cam?
I want to build the 305, because, as the boy receives a 327, but worth more than the Malibu .... thats the point, I would create a power on the cheap, engine captains have outlined how to build from 305 to shut down 372 horses! this is not developed to replace the pistons, just build up a higher end, a camera comp cam and aftermarket head Vortech (not sure of the brand, but could not verify) Edlebrock plane and only actor in the Vortech and 650 demon carb, which would go a step further and bulk up the bottom of the cup-shaped piston, look at the posibilty caresses that although I did not, but in particular i wanted to make sure he could use the comp cams "thumpr" I like the power band that the claims and those that do for my engine, I will not know that there is a hydraulic lift created ... Well myself being a odd ball engine fan accumulations of alternatives to many common engines. I'd say go for it. The only thing I have a problem with the cam is the choice to perform. I ran the camera before other engines of SBC and SBF engines too. it has decent power, but the amount of lobe center angle is too for what they are doing. 107 degrees is insane. slurry great camera once said, if you need more than 108 degrees then the camera is too large. Also note that this is an adaptation of hydraulic roller cam. which means that the adjustable rockers and pushrods good, change Spring also. Personally, I like the stroker kit i received from the motive or the speed you took my 305 to a 340. zero deck the block and used the small camera of 58cc heads ported. made a good compression on it. then use the comp cams magnum roller cams 280hr factory because I had a factory engine cam rollers. marked by piston to valve clearance and not have to change anything. havent had a dyno or drag strips so far, but does a good torque and some lots of noise when it opened.
